Joshua Konzer, Ph.D., Physics

Staff Scientist

Joshua Konzer’s Ph.D. in high-energy nuclear physics from Purdue University and his work on the 200GeV nuclear collisions at Brookhaven National Lab’s Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) included detector simulations and operation, data analytics, database management, and research into the connection of the “jet” and “ridge” phenomena observed in ultra-relativistic collisions of heavy nuclei.  In the process, Josh has gained vast experience in computer programming, numerous computer environments, networks, and hardware.  His combination of computer expertise and scientific knowledge enhances Cyclomedical’s expertise in secure documentation, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), software management, data storage and access, as well as functions essential to project management and installation of cyclotron production facilities and PET laboratories.
